Ilse Scott gave a presentation on “Music Licensing Requirements to Play Music at Your Business,” hosted by the San Francisco Entertainment Commission at the Main Library branch of the San Francisco Public Library on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Open to the general public, this discussion explored the music licensing requirements necessary for bars, restaurants, hotels, nightclubs and all other businesses that play music at their establishments. In this segment, Ilse explains why it is the business owner's responsibility to obtain proper licensing when hosting live music at his or her venue.
